KEY HISTORICAL MILESTONES
- Philippine Commercial Capital, Inc. was incorporated on September 23, 1975 to serve as the investment banking arm of Meralco and its affiliates and is considered as one of the oldest investment banks in the country.
- In 1989 the Management of the Meralco Pension Fund and the Lopez, Inc. purchased a controlling interest in the company from Meralco when the latter divested from its non-core businesses.
- Throughout its 43 years of business operations, PCCI Capital has established a solid track record and expertise in the Philippine capital market and consequently obtained the license to operate as TRUST ENTITY, INVESTMENT HOUSE and SECURITIES DEALER.
- In 2018, PCCI Capital marked another milestone when it was acquired by a new management, the HORTIVELLUM PROPERTY HOLDINGS, INC. (HPHI). It is now 100% owned by Hortivellum Property Holdings, Inc.
- Moving forward, PCCI Capital is geared towards embarking on new investment strategies and diversification in its clientele to further fortify its position in the capital market.
